Where people meet the Revolution
Revolution Books is a place, a bookstore, where
people meet the revolution. Revolution Books is alive with a defiant spirit that refuses to accept that the horrors of today's world have to be. People come to the store to find the people and deep engagement about the possibility of a radically different way the world could be.
At the heart of Revolution Books is the cutting-edge work of Bob Avakian, whose new synthesis of communism envisions a radically new society that is overcoming all of the oppression of the current world while giving great scope to intellectual work, ferment, and dissent as integral to the complete emancipation of humanity.
Revolution Books carries books on history and political theory, novels and poetry, atheism and science, world geopolitics and philosophy, as well as DVDs, books in Spanish, Arabic, and Farsi. We have discussions, author readings, and film showings.
At Revolution Books you can meet the movement that is changing the world.

BAsics 1:13 – “No more generations of our youth, here and all around the world, whose life is over, whose fate has been sealed, who have been condemned to an early death or a life of misery and brutality, whom the system has destined for oppression and oblivion even before they are born.
I say no more of that.” Bob Avakian
